Alternative Education at Pollyteach
At Pollyteach, we create a fun and safe alternative learning environment for young people aged 8-16 with a range of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Learners aged 16+ with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) can also access our services.
We engage with our learners to build their self-esteem, confidence and social skills before developing a bespoke education programme to support their interests and goals.
Since starting in 2014, we have grown to become a leading Alternative Provider and now operate over 4 different locations in the region. We became part of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Group in 2020, meaning our learners can now benefit from more specialist facilities and therapies.

Pollyteach gave Jamie the confidence to step outside of his house for the first time in 6 months. Now, two years later he is at college studying a full-time Level 3 course.
Balancing effort with reward motivated Leyton to achieve GCSE grade 4 in maths and science and Level 2 English Foundation.
Complex health issues kept Kerry out of school since year 7. She was referred to Pollyteach in year 10 where she received flexible and supportive one-to-one teaching. She went on to achieve 8 GCSEs, which was a huge achievement.
